Cadiz Music is a successful music and film production company, established in 2003. The Cadiz Music label releases music and films which cover a diverse range of genres from rock, punk and heavy metal to folk, jazz world and urban. Cadiz was the first independent company to enter the digital arena in 2004 with Cadiz Digital Ltd which has become one of iTunes key suppliers. Cadiz also produces acclaimed in-house films such as Oil City Confidential and East End Babylon, as well as licensed documentaries such as Alive Inside and Bayou Maharajah. On top of this, they also produce a wide selection of music and film merchandise such as books, T-shirts and posters.
They are now venturing into exciting new areas such as event management and fashion, having recently opened the Cadiz Gallery - a creative art space and meeting-point in the up-and-coming cultural hub of Deptford Creek. The gallery was launched with a fantastic exhibition by genius visual artist and Killing Joke bassist, Martin “Youth” Glover. Cadiz are also in collaboration with eco-fashion pioneer Laura Zabo, who specialises in vegan and ethical fashion accessories made entirely out of scrap bike tyres and who holds a pop-up shop within the gallery. Additionally, Cadiz will soon be opening a trendy cafe-bar within the gallery, selling healthy organic/vegan fare.
