Regular price £12.00 Sale

Originally released in 2001, The Old Hyde takes its title from the song written about the home that Deborah’s brother John built with their father, and features John’s son Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin, Black Country Communion) on drums throughout, with a special guest appearance from Mick Fleetwood.

Classic Rock lead the compliments: '…the album has balls…a classy set of bluesy hard rock,' while Country Music Round-Up simply said 'quite superb' and the influential All Music Guide judged that it was 'one of the best blues-rock albums of the early 21st century… not a bummer in sight'.

Produced by Mo Foster (Phil Collins, Jeff Beck) , the studio band also includes Robbie Blunt (Robert Plant), guitarist Robbie McIntosh (Pretenders, Paul McCartney), Jem Davis & Andy Barnett (FM), Michael Chetwood (Band of Joy, T’Pau) and Dougie Boyle (Robert Plant, Caravan).

This release features 3 bonus tracks including Led Zeppelin’s ‘The Battle of Evermore’, a duet with Jason Bonham recorded live at Rockline Radio’s Bob Coburn Show in Los Angeles.
